Cathedrale Orthodoxe Russe St-Nicolas a Nice was commissioned by Czar Nicolas11 and is one of the most beautiful examples of a Russian Church built outside Russia. Ornately decorated it also houses a wonderful collection of Russian artwork including items commemorating the Grand Duke Nicolas Alexandrovitz who died in Nice. Easily recognised by its onion shaped domes this fine building is worth a visit.

For a small place, Nice has much to offer visitors. Be sure that you plan to stay for a reasonable period of time so that you get the chance to explore all of the great Nice attractions and perhaps the chance to enjoy more than one of the fine Nice hotels.
